We are throughly disappointed we paid that much and they weren’t even willing to work with us even though I called asap.

My husband and I were very grossed out since we actually saw chunks floating near us and didn’t feel comfortable getting back in the pool that day plus all of our swimsuits and towels were soaking wet since we didn’t have a dryer in our hotel. They said they were open til 7 and we could go back. ( I first called the resort at 1:36 they then gave me the number to the water park and I called at 1:48). If we would have stopped by the counter on our way out they could have possibly worked with us but since they had no way of knowing when we left they couldn’t help us since they didn’t know when we left. They stated they opened the pool maybe 30 mins later (1:29). I called when we were on our way up the mountain asking if we could get a voucher since we spent $180 on 3 tickets and only got to enjoy for 1.5hrs. Having a 3 year old and 9 month old, they were cold and antsy. It was bad enough that when we were getting out there were chunks floating near us. Within 1.5 hrs of being open someone pooped in the pool. Also note: The giftshop upstairs/main level is cheaper than further up the mountain/general store. Me and my kids ate there every night and the drinks are strong. Note: The restaurant in the building, on the main floor outside of the waterpark is delicious. There was hair in the pool so maybe a little more cleaning and filtering is needed. Got a locker, chairs, food and remembered to bring our own towels. You can order from the Kiosk or the counter, making it easy to order. Not sure why people were complaining about the prices, its the same at the theme parks and balls parks. The food was good and priced accordingly. I also liked how they had lifegaurds who made sure no kids or teens entered the hot tubs, they did try. You have to find it, it is tucked away which was good. My toddler got cold so only played half the time. He loved the Flo-rider, got to do that twice. I liked that it was super easy to receive a refund or credit, no questions asked, no issues. My husband decided he didn't want to go so I was able to get arcade credit for his ticket or a refund. We arrived about 30mins before opening and was able to get a seat for myself and 2 kids. I knew we had to get there early to get a seat and get wristbands. Went President's Day weekend (February 2023), purchased tickets online in advance for a family of 4. Would I visit again? Possibly if in the area and I find a better deal.
There is a nice variety of slides indoor and out as well as a little kids area and treehouse but there’s not much in between there’s no actual pool there is however a decent lazy river. There is only one indoor food stand that is of course very expensive and gets very crowded quickly. There is an arcade which can be a blessing and a curse.

I did not like the old school locker keys I like it better when you get a code that everyone can have so they can come and go from the locker that works better with teenagers than having to hunt down mom with the key. The locker fee is steep at $30 but you get $10 back when you turn the key in. Be careful before you enter into the park they try to get your name and address and email to sign you up to win a gift card in reality they’re just trying to collect your information for timeshare do not give it out. I was happy you could just purchase a day pass to go. We had looked into staying at the resort but it is not pet friendly and it is a timeshare that I did not wanna get involved in. We had someone in the hospital so we didn’t want to chance it with the possibility we may have to go home at any moment. The price is a bit high at $60 a person but you can save a little bit purchasing a day in advance. We were able to get outside and enjoy the slides out there as well as the wave pool. With just the indoor portion that would not leave as much to do or room to move around in my opinion. I’m also not so sure I’d recommend a visit in the off-season when the outdoor portion is not open. The place was packed… if this is on Monday I would hate to see the weekend. The available day of our trip was Monday which I thought would work well with crowds however I was wrong. I found this water park located within the Massanutten resort. We were staying at the Harrisonburg KOA a half hour away and I was looking for something for two teenagers to do. First visit for one adult two teenagers on Monday, August 8, 2022.
